The new large printing house in western Sweden invests for the future in the graphic market.

Last fall, the printing companies RisbergsAdbox and Cela Gruppen announced their intention to merge into one company, after several years of informal cooperation. The merger is now completed, and all operations are placed in Uddevalla and it is time to take the next step to secure their position in the graphics market, now and in the future. To accomplish it, they are investing in digital offset printing with HP Indigo and digital finishing from CP Bourg and buying an HP Indigo 7900 and an In-line Bourg Booklet Making Solution – BSF + Double BPM + BM-e.

Before the merger, Cela had an HP Indigo 5500 in Vänersborg and it has now been moved and installed on site in Uddevalla. Shortly after Easter, Visutech will deliver and install the new HP Indigo 7900 together with the Bourg Booklet Making line.

The CP Bourg BM-e Booklet Maker utilizes the latest technology to produce on-demand booklets. The paper flow follows a stitch–fold–trim process with guaranteed set integrity. The solution can create over 14 types of stitch positions on booklets and up to 20 different final applications

Anders Johansson, the new CEO since January has already expressed great confidence in HP Indigo technology, CP Bourg finishing and, in the supplier, Visutech.

“With our new digital printing press and finishing equipment, we get the opportunity to create unique products with a quality that is unsurpassed, and in a fully automated production with our new Bourg Booklet Maker in-line with the press. We can use HP Indigo for all types of jobs, for applications that require the highest quality, for jobs with special inks such as white, silver and other metallic colors, and for printing on thicker substrates needed for packaging,” says Anders.
