Interface Feeder Booklet Maker & Perfect Binder (IFB) In-Line / Off-Line / Near-Line / Dual-Mode
The Bourg Interface Feeder Booklet Maker & Perfect Binder (IFB) serves an error reject station. It is a recommended accessory to connect the Bourg Sheet Feeder (BSF) to any Bourg booklet making and perfect binding modules: the Bourg Document Finisher (BDF-e), the Bourg Bleed Crease Module (BCM-e), the Bourg Booklet Maker (BM-e) and the Bourg Binder BB3202 EVA / hot melt / PUR-Compact but also partner products.
The IFB can also be connected to several validated downstream finishing partner products such as the Watkiss PowerSquare 224, the Rollem UV Coater machines, etc.
The paper-path can follow either a right to left or a left to right process, and work In-Line with multiple digital printers/presses.
The IFB automatically ejects jobs in case of double feed or a wrong barcode sequence. Once the operator corrected the issue with the faulty job, it can be manually fed back through the IFB. As a result, the IFB minimizes the downtime associated with faulted jobs.
